Video Game Music Compilation 30

Video game music, as we all know, is beautiful and great and as I compile them I always feel the need to put a filler paragraph here and always act upon that feeling. So for those who aren't familiar with the VGMCs it's essentially where I compile around five or more pieces of music from wherever I find them, and describe them shortly for the sake of content. If thats your stuff than aw yeah, lets do this!
Floating Fortress - Cyborg 009
This piece is really well paced, matching the feeling of oaring through the sky on a floating fortress. It's comprised of mostly chip tune, but has it's fair share of drums and even a bit of guitar. Doing a good job at hitting just the right atmosphere, this piece really carries itself via strong and catchy melodies. The melodies are catchy even without being fast-paced overly grand. They hit just the right spot in more than one way.
Mr. Finale - BattleBlock Theater
What better way to start an intense and oppressive song that by having a guy scream "RUN"? Using a boat-load of beeps and boops layered with a well done chorus, this piece really does fit the whole escape-from-prison theme. This is actually very catchy, intense, and epic due to the chaotic yet well timed beeps as well as the powerful and somewhat scary chorus. It immerses you in an atmosphere that is energetic and sinister.
Buckle your Pants - BattleBlock Theater
This piece is not only a lot more lighthearted, but also a lot more funny, being a lot more prominent in the lyrics category of things. This song is hilarious, fitting BattleBlock Theater perfectly. The entire song is about buckling your pants. It's something so ludicrous that my man Stamper can do oh so perfectly. It's got your standard BattleBlock Theater sounds composed into a very happy and energetic piece, which is surprisingly fitting for the subject matter of this song.
Battlefield(storm) - Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan
Oh lord is this piece just filled to the brim with energy! It's booming orchestra is perfectly paired with the amazing rock instruments to become such an amazingly composed piece. It's so filled with excitement, which is fitting for such an addicting and catchy piece such as this one. The guitar leads the way, backed up by the orchestra in such a way that keeps this song beautiful no matter how many times you indulge in the experience it provides.
Route 209 - Super Smash Bros Brawl (Pokemon Diamond & Pearl)
Being one of my all-time favorite Pokemon themes, this song is even more beautiful when done for Super Smash Bros Brawl. Remastered with an entire orchestra, this song's beauty was only elevated more so. It's piano solo is something that makes me feel more at home than my actual home does, and it's beautifully prominent orchestra is something that reaches directly into my soul. It's strong melodies is perfectly executed by all the right instruments. It's orchestra is just so grand and powerful that it moves me to tears. I love it way too much.
I really hope you enjoyed the variety of music here, because I truly enjoyed writing about them.
