Pix 'n Love Rush is a mobile platformer game with a retro theme. You're just a little cat that runs around, doing whatever your objective is (depending on the game mode). There are several different game modes, some with a time restraint, some without. This is really one of those games with no motivation behind what you're playing except a high score, just just the ye olden days of arcades.
You have Classic Rush, where you're just platforming through levels as the screen moves, collecting plus bits, avoiding minus bits, and positioning yourself under enemies to shoot up at them. Plus its add points, minus takes some away, and you can either gain points from bats by hitting them or gain some points by shooting them. The levels just change and you try to get as many points either under a 5 minute time limit or infinitely with a health bar. This game mode has a cool neon theme that actually changes to a different one once you gain a certain amount of points, and changes back once you dip back below that point range.
Next is Cursed Rush, which is a fun but completely different game mode. Its one of those single button games, where all you do is jump while it automatically runs for you. You're running along on these platforms that disappear once you walk over 'em(you know the ones) until you reach the end of the level, to which you can move on the the next level. The levels go from Hard, to Harder, to Hardcore, to Hardcorer, to Hardcorest, with one level each. This game mode has a classic black and white theme but with a mild graininess(kinda like TV static) overlay on the whole thing.
Now we have Rainbow Rush, another single tap one. There are four paths, and you only have control over which one you're in. You can tap anywhere, and with each tap(unless you hold it down) you go one section up. Theres the occasional wall in the way that you have to avoid, and the occasional path downwards. This game mode sports a rather bland theme for the title Rainbow Rush, but still not bad.
Finally we have the On & Off Rush. This is also a single button game mode, but this one works completely differently. There are sun and moon bits you have to collect, during the right time. Once you run in, its day, so you gotta collect all the sun bits. Once you hit the end of the level, you hit a block that turns you around, also turning it to night, and your goal switches from sun bits to moon bits. As you might've guessed, the aesthetics change from night to day as well. The night time look is dark with white pixels, with a look of some mountains and a moon. Then the sun comes in(this is my personal favorite of all the looks) is a clean, black pixel, bright background, overlooking a BEAUTIFUL ocean scene.
In short, this is a beautiful and well-controlling game for the mobile scene. It is free, so no use in saying that it's worth your price. It has no real motivation needed to play it, so that goes well in conjunction with it begin a mobile game.
